Great Place to Work® is an Oakland-based, global people analytics and consulting firm that helps companies of all sizes produce better business results by building, sustaining, and recognizing exemplary workplace cultures. As the creators of the gold-standard Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For® list, their mission is to build a better world by helping organizations become ‘Great Places to Work’ for all. The For All Summit is an annual three-day gathering hosted by GPTW and is the largest gathering of business leaders to spread the movement that is better for business, better for people, better for the world.

The 2018 event took place in San Francisco, respectively with the theme of ‘Innnovation’. Leading with a wide variety of characters we made it clear that people—as a collective force—are the innovation. Working with an illustrator, we built a custom library of a wide variety of characters to communicate the inclusive nature of the For All mission. Breaking off from a rigid grid of shapes from the previous year’s theme, we set them free, scattered and overlapping in space, in anticipation for dynamic movement both on the web and in on-stage animations. We filled 4 hotel floors full of wayfinding to facilitate a bounty of programming, countless activations, and animations on the 60 x 15’ LED screen.
